How difficult is the Annapurna Circuit Trek?

Annapurna Circuit Trek is no doubt one of the challenging treks in the Annapurna region. The trail crosses Thorong La Pass (5,416 m), the highest pass in Nepal. The entire route encompasses numerous ascends & descends along several steep and rugged sections. Likewise, you have to walk through dense forests and remote villages, where only limited services are available. Due to the remoteness of the region, the services are basic, and you will not find most of the snacks and other goodies on the way.

Annapurna Circuit Trekking is a high-altitude trek, therefore altitude sickness (acute mountain sickness) is also something to look after. One mistake and it can get life-threatening. However, with our precisely designed Annapurna Circuit Trek itinerary and strong team support, you do not have to worry about anything. To go on this trek, you have to be physically fit. Previous trekking experience is needed to have the best experience during the trek.

Best time to go on Annapurna Circuit Trek

You can do this trek in spring (March to April) and autumn (October to November). Stable weather, moderate climate, bright days, and clear views make these months the most suitable time of the year to do trekking. Likewise, diverse species of floras in spring and vibrant festivals in autumn enhance the trip.

Accommodation and Food during the trek

Annapurna Circuit Trek 15 Days is a teahouse trek. In some villages, you might also stay in a guest house. The room will be small with a shared/private washroom. You can get a double or single bed as per your desire. A single bed can get a little pricer than the double one. The facilities in the teahouse will be very basic and might charge a few extra bucks for a hot shower, WiFi, etc at some places. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, a 3-star or a tourist standard hotel will be booked for your stay.
