After breakfast at your guesthouse, we proceed to Kathmandu Airport's domestic terminal for the thirty-minute journey to Lukla, wherein we touch on a dangerous pitch viewing the DudhKoshi River. Today is the first day of our trekking therefore after landing at the airport, a simple walk down to Phakding. This walk takes us through Sherpa traditional farming, passing through several towns along the route. Many Sherpas now rely primarily on hiking for their livelihood. We can stop at one of the countless tea coffee shops along the path for refreshments and a talk with the locals.
Everest Three High Pass Trek Itinerary
Day 1 Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding(2651m)
Day 2 Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m)
The trek leads us via several suspension bridges, along with the world-famous Hillary suspension bridge, before arriving at the bustling hamlets of Monjo and Chhamuwa. The ride continues through the village of Bengkar to Jorsalle, which further symbolizes our entry into the gorgeous Sagarmatha National Park. The trek leads us all the way to Namche, traversing through numerous floras and faunas. Namche that's where you'll spend the night.
Day 3 Day hike around Namche Bazaar (3700m)
Namche Bazar is where we’ll acclimatize. Namche Bazar is the most inhabited Sherpa settlement in the Khumbu region, and therefore the most industrialized. There is so much that can indeed be done here that one day would never be enough. We could indeed ascend to Everest View Hotel for the spectacular scenery of Mt. Everest (8,848 meters), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 meters), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 meters), Mt. Kongde (6,187 meters), Mt. AmaDablam (6,812 meters), as well as Mt. Thamserku (6,623 meters). Khumjung Hillary School, Sherpa Culture Museum, and Everest Photo Gallery, brightly colored market, and several other department stores, cafes, and restaurants are some of the tourist attractions during your trek.
Day 4 Trek to Tengboche(3900m)
We will walk to Tengboche village today and then see the Tengboche monastery. Our journey to this monastery will enable everyone to get a glimpse into the inhabitants' religious beliefs. Tengboche monastery is the largest and oldest in the neighborhood. From here, we'll be capable to see Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. AmaDablam (6,812 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Kantega (6,782 m), and some other mountains.
Day 5 Trek to Dengboche(4400m)
We continue our trek more toward the rocky settlement of Dingboche as the path traverses through the breathtaking vistas of AmaDablam (6,856m). The day also represents our arrival into the 4,000m barriers, as we are already at a height of 4410m. While we go over the harsh Himalayan terrain, we leave the pleasant vistas behind. The trek arrives at Dingboche through an ice track.
Day 6 Trek to Chhukung (dayhike to Chhukung RI)
We'll leave Dingboche and proceed across slab meadows. Mt. Lhotse will be on your left and Mt. AmaDablam will be on your right as you travel. From here, we'll travel to Bibre, which is a yak herder's village. The hike will guide us to Chukhung village, where we will stay the night and would provide us with lovely views of Island Peak.
Day 7 Trek to Lobuche via Kongma La Pass (5535m)
Today, we will conquer Kongma La Pass (5535m/18160ft), the trek's first pass. The journey will take a certain amount of time like every other day, however, the tough road will fatigue us. Yet, we will be surrounded by the breathtaking countryside throughout the walk. While crossing the pass, there are two ways from Chukhung to Lobuche. The first involves ascending a ridge to the northwest of Chukhung and passing the Nuptse glacier's moraine. The second path brings us to Bible and crosses the rocky track over NiyangKhola.
Day 8 Trek to GorakShep. Visit Everest Base Camp and back to GorakShep(5368m)
We're heading to the foot of the world's highest Mountains today. As the route departs Lobuche, it travels through the rough Himalayan vistas, passing monuments devoted to adventurers who died in the Himalayas. When we arrive at the famed Everest Base Camp, we grab a brief break to appreciate the splendor of the world's tallest Himalayas. We return to Gorakshep while admiring the Mountain beauty. Gorakshep is where you will spend the night.
Day 9 Trek to Kala Patthar and then to Dzongla(4830m)
Kalapatthar (commonly recognized as a black rock), is a well-known site that delivers the most stunning panoramic views of the surrounding gigantic peaks, including a close-up of Mt. Everest. We take breakfast at Tea house and continue on to Dzongla, at the base of Cho-La Pass, where we will spend the night. Breakfast, lunch, and supper are all included in the price.
Day 10 Trek to Thangnak via Cho La Pass. Trek to Gokyo
You'll make your way to Cho-la Pass the next day (5,368m\17611ft). In the morning, you will be served a healthy breakfast. You'll say your goodbyes to Dzongla (4,800m\15748ft). You'll follow the track as it climbs through the bushland.
You could experience observing a musk deer if you're lucky enough. The views of AmaDablam (6,812 m/22,349 ft) and Tawache (6542 m/21463 ft) are breathtaking. The hike will take you 9-10 hours to get to Gokyo (4,750m\15583ft). You keep walking down to Thangnak village (4695m). Thanks Village is perched on a cliff. At Gokyo, you'll spend the night in a lovely Teahouse.
Day 11 Day hike in Gokyo and Explore GokyoRi(5367m)
We'll wander up to GokyoRi (5360m/17585ft) presently for a spectacular mountain panorama. We also have the opportunity of trekking to the 4th and 5th Gokyo lakes, which have been positioned approximately 3 kilometers north of Gokyo village. We can trek to Scoundrel's Viewpoint at the 5th lake that offers wonderful views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Makalu (8481 m), as well as Gyachung Kang (7,952 m). We will back to Gokyo village for the night.
Day 12 Trek to Marulung (4210m) via Renjo La Pass
Early in the morning, after having a light breakfast, you will continue your walk to Renjo La Pass (5345 m) as the trekking trail is steep. After climbing the tough pathway, you will now move on to Murlung. This trek is comparatively easy compared to other passes in the Khumbu region. After hiking for 8/9 hours you will finally arrive at Murulung village observing the spectacular view of mountains, amazing lush forest, and vegetations.
Day 13 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
The walk today would be quick and simple. We'll reach Namche Bazar by traveling through woodland routes and very few settlements. We'll have plenty of time to chill and appreciate excellent cuisine, as well as see sites we haven't seen for a long time.
Day 14 Trek to Lukla(2800m)
We'll arrive at Phakding village after descending via the beautiful forest and then a rough path at Phakding. Following, we’ll hike through lush woodland after crossing a spectacular bridge along with the shining mountain on the way to Lukla.Day 15 Flight to Kathmandu(1330m)
This is the last day of your trekking in Nepal. On this day, you will catch a plane from Lukla airport which is 30 minutes flight, offering the mountain view of Everest and many more mountains, lakes, rivers, villages, and so on. After landing, you will be picked up by one of our staff and takes you to the Hotel.
